All the Places to Run

All the Places to Run

February 24, 2020

Currently I am training for the Aramco Houston Half Marathon and I have been doing a lot of running around Grand Central Park. There’s nothing like seeing others out on their bikes, walking their dogs and running too! Even though most people are doing their own thing it provides a sense of community. That being said, it’s the beginning of 2020 and you know what that means… it’s a time when people tend to dust off their walking / running shoes. In the spirit of new beginnings, I thought I would provide a list of my favorite local running (and walking) races. They are broken down into seasons for your planning purposes. This will be especially handy for those who are new to the area. If you run any of these races and love them, then they were my recommendation… if you don’t love them… then they were Lee’s recommendation! Just kidding. I think you’ll enjoy all of these events. Please note that some of these events have a 1 mile run for the kids too making them family friendly!
