Trillium Park Work is underway on the inaugural planned park for Grand Central Park, nestled amid the community’s first neighborhoods so residents can easily walk to enjoy the natural expanse. Expected to open this summer, Trillium Park will include a babbling brook leading to a covered pavilion outfitted with tables for afternoon picnics. Trails will meander through the park and old-growth trees will provide ample shade. We’re Excited You’re Here! From the Developer Work continues from Johnson Development and builders in Grand Central Park. Construction started this month on an 8-foot concrete wall that will serve as a buffer between Loop 336 and homesites back- ing to the roadway in the first two sections. The structure is designed to enhance homeowners’ privacy while still giving them the benefit of being near the thoroughfare. The project is expected to be complete in March. In addition, Jaeger Homes has released plans and pricing for its courtyard home designs in Grand Central Park. Jaeger and Coventry Homes are expected to open the community’s newest models in February. With a significant portion of the 2,046-acre development to remain as nature areas, the allure of Grand Central Park is evident, with residents to have access to miles of hiking trails through heavily wooded expanses. Natural lakes, including the 88-acre Grand Lake, will offer opportunities for idyllic afternoons. Mix in convenient retail and dining at 336 Marketplace, a location with easy access to Interstate 45, and planned amenities that support an urban lifestyle and it’s easy to see why Grand Central Park has attracted the attention of so many.
