Conroe Regional Medical Center Nurse Is Grand Central Park's First New Homebuyer

September 14, 2016

One of the greater Houston area’s most anticipated master-planned communities has its first new homebuyers.

Shortly after Grand Central Park announced its line-up of new homebuilders, Sally Sangil of Conroe, a Registered Nurse at Conroe Regional Medical Center, signed on the dotted line with Perry Homes.  With the hospital located across the street from Grand Central Park, Sangil says she can practically walk to work.

“I first heard about Grand Central Park at one of the hospital’s employee forums,” she says.  “That day, I went home and told my kids we’re going to buy a new home.  Everything about the community – the nature, the nearby shopping and the beautiful new homes – I can’t wait to move there.”

A Conroe resident since 1989, Sangil will live with her daughter Kim while she attends nursing school at Lone Star Community College.

Another of Grand Central Park’s new homebuyers, Bradley and Melissa Caudle of Conroe, say there were drawn to the community’s unique combination of trails, lakes and green spaces along with nearby shopping and entertainment.

“We’ve been following Grand Central Park ever since it was purchased by Johnson Development,” says Bradley.  “When we saw the billboards and announcements, we thought, ‘This is real, it’s something to get in on.  When people catch on, it’s going to go fast.’”

The Caudles are the proprietors of Rock ‘N Learn, an award-winning collection of educational DVDs and downloadable videos to boost learning and test scores.  Melissa also is a substitute teacher for the Conroe Independent School District.

With model homes opening in the fall, Grand Central Park is expected to draw from the Conroe area.   However its homebuilders also report sales from new homebuyers currently living in Richmond and Spring.

“We’re seeing interested homebuyers from across the Houston area,” notes Grand Central Park Director of Marketing Shannon League.  “There’s nothing quite like the Grand Central Park experience for those looking for a dynamic, urban approach to living, shopping and dining in a pristine, wooded environment.”
