Attendance zone changes are coming for the 2026-2027 school year for students in our South and Central Villages. These students will be zoned to the new Janene Fowler Intermediate School opening in August and the Lynn Cartwright Junior High School slated to open in August 2027.

  • Elementary Schools

    Young children of GCP will either attend Wilkinson Elementary or Rice Elementary with Conroe ISD. Both Wilkinson Elementary and Rice Elementary rank in the top 45 percent of all elementary schools in Texas, U.S. News & World Report, 2024

  • Cryar Intermediate

    Students in grades five through six carefully transition from elementary school to secondary school under the watchful guidance of dedicated teachers and staff at Cryar Intermediate.

  • Peet Junior High

    The journey of self-discovery begins at Peet Junior High where students can explore a variety of academic subjects, sports, fine arts and student organizations.

  • Conroe High School

    The mighty Tigers attend a ninth grade-only campus before transitioning to the school for 10 th through 12 th graders where they meet rigorous expectations in a supportive environment.

  • Private Schools

    Parents looking beyond a traditional public schools setting for their children will find ample choices near Grand Central Park, several about 10 miles or less from the community. Schools with elementary, middle school and even high school programs are available.
