336 Marketplace Names First Tenants

June 08, 2017

A Kroger Signature store, HomeGoods, Ross and Michaels will open in 336 Marketplace as Montgomery County’s newest regional shopping and dining destination announces its first tenants.

Situated in the new master-planned community of Grand Central Park, 336 Marketplace offers 700,000 square feet of mixed-use retail space on a 102-acre tract at the southwest corner of I-45 and South Loop 336.  The new retail setting is about five miles north of The Woodlands.

The 125,000-square-foot Kroger signature store, scheduled to open in early 2018, will emphasize an interactive customer experience with natural and organic foods, chef-prepared meal solutions and ethnic and gourmet food choices.  The store also is planning to offer a pharmacy and a selection of wines and beers.

HomeGoods, offering home fashions from around the world, the arts and crafts specialty retailer Michaels and Ross department store are slated to open in 336 Marketplace in the first quarter of 2018.  The new HomeGoods store will span 42,000 square feet, Ross will span 25,000 square feet and Michaels will occupy 21,000 square feet.

“We’re creating a regional center with a local appeal for those who reside in Grand Central Park,” notes Lynn Davis, principal and chief marketing officer of Fidelis Realty Partners.  “There are terrific opportunities for fashion retailers, restaurants, medical and fitness facilities.”

A carefully planned community by Johnson Development Corp., Grand Central Park offers new luxury patio homes, lifestyle townhomes and larger, single-family homes starting in the $290s.

The community is minutes from the ExxonMobil corporate campus, George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Conroe North-Houston Regional Airport and world-class healthcare.
