Kroger Announces Jan. 26 Grand Opening in 336 MARKETPLACE

December 07, 2017

A sparkling new Kroger Marketplace will open its doors in Montgomery County’s newest regional shopping destination, 336 MARKETPLACE, on Friday, January 26 when shoppers can be the first to experience the store’s interactive customer experiences and gourmet selections starting at 8 a.m.

Grand opening activities will start at 9 a.m. with prize giveaways to the first 250 customers.

Located at the southwest corner of I-45 and South Loop 336 in Grand Central Park, the new Kroger at 341 South Loop 336 will feature natural and organic foods, chef-prepared meal solutions, ethnic and gourmet food choices including selections from Murray’s Cheese Shop, the beloved Greenwich Village cheese shop now exclusive to Kroger outside New York City.

The new store will offer a fuel center where shoppers can redeem Kroger fuel points, a Starbucks, pharmacy and a selection of wines and beers. Families also will enjoy the convenience of Kroger’s ClickList to shop for groceries online for pick up at the store.

Regular store hours for the new Kroger Marketplace are 6 a.m.- 1 a.m. daily.

The new Kroger will be the first tenant to open in 336 MARKETPLACE.  HomeGoods, Ross and Michaels are scheduled to open in the Spring with others to follow.

The new center is expected to be a big boost for residents of Grand Central Park, according to Shannon League, director of marketing for the master-planned community.  New homes are less than a mile from the center with bike path accessibility available.

“With 336 MARKETPLACE, Grand Central Park residents never have to leave the community for groceries, a prescription or just about any item,” notes League.

The carefully planned community by Johnson Development Corp. offers new luxury patio homes, lifestyle townhomes and larger, single-family homes starting in the $280s.
