Don’t believe us? Check out 10 ways families have fun in Grand Central Park.

Drop a Line in Grand Lake

Our 88-acre Grand Lake is more than just a place to meditate by. It’s a place to meditate by while watching your kids hook a big fish. Fishing is catch-and-release, so there will always be a chance to nab one.

Kayak on Deer Lake

Take the kids out for their first paddle on our gorgeous Deer Lake. While they get the swing of things, you can search for wildlife on the shore.

Hike The Granduer

What most communities call trails we call sidewalks. Grand Central Parks boasts miles of real hiking trails, so pack up sack lunches, water and a camera and start exploring.

Bike to 336 Marketplace

Hope on your bikes and head out for a little urban adventuring. Stop at Starbuck’s for frappuccinos, pick up hiking gear at DICK’S Sporting Goods and finish up with lunch at Torchy’s Tacos.

Play at Twilight Park

The family that plays together stays fit together — especially when they play at Twilight Park. We’ve got play equipment for the kids and a workout zone for parents. All of it set amongst shady trees to keep you cool while you work up a sweat.

Make a Splash

The Lake House pool is open, and residents have all summer to make a splash. The more than 5,000-square-foot resort-style pool offers Adirondack chairs for lounging, hammocks for snoozing, lap lanes, water aerobics and more.

Picnic at Trillium Park

Everyone needs fresh air and sunshine, so pack a picnic lunch and spread your blankets by the babbling brook in Trillium Park.

Roast Marshmallows at Mystic Pond

Does the sun set more beautifully over Mystic Pond? We don’t know, but it sure is pretty. After the show, get out the marshmallows and toast them over the fire pit.

Unleash Fido at Frisky Biscuit

Unleash Fido at our spectacular Frisky Biscuit dog park. Not only are there small and large dog areas, but we’ve also provided pups with toys, water stations and everything else they need to have a doggone good time.

Party With the Neighbors

Group adventures are led by Doris Hopper, our marvelous Director of Fun. She dreams up an impressive roster of fun-filled activities all year long including our Freedom Fest 4th of July celebration, pool parties, ladies’ teas and more
